How
much of my donation goes to the cause I choose?
If you give
to one of our appeals for land or wildlife conservation you want as much
of your donation to go towards the actual project. The Foundation appreciates
your care for the cause and guarantees that 100% of your money reaches
the project you choose to support.
To enable us to do
our work we also need to have funds to cover basic costs such as staff,
phone bills and printing. Without these funds our organisation cannot
operate. We are grateful for your support through general donations.
What
happens with my donation?
Your donations fund a range of projects that protect native animals, plants
and cultural heritage. You will receive regular updates on the progress
of these projects, showing you how your money is spent.
Can
I make a donation on the phone?
Donations by credit card over the phone are often the quickest and easiest
way to make a contribution. Simply call our office during working hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Outside office hours simply leave
your name and number and we will call you back as soon as possible.

Can
I make a donation as a gift for or in memory of someone else?
Yes! Simply provide
us with your gift recipient's name and contact details and add a personal
gift message. We will be happy to help you personalise your gift if you
wish.
Can
I make recurring or monthly credit card donations?
Yes! Regular giving, such as a set monthly or annual amount, is one of
the most convenient ways to help your parks and wildlife. It helps us
save administration cost and it saves you time. You will receive your
tax-deductible receipt either for each individual donation or for the
whole of the financial year.
What
are my payment options?
You may donate by bank cheque or money order or use your Visa, MasterCard,
BankCard or American Express Card. You can send your donation by mail,
fax us your donation form,
donate over the phone or via our secure online donation
page.

Are
my donations 100% tax-deductible?
Yes, all donations
of $2 or more are tax-deductible. There are also various tax benefits
for bequests and property donations, which you will find under "Make
a donation" in this section.
Charitable
Events: For our fundraising events the ticket value is usually
NOT tax deductible regardless of the actual value of the goods or services
that you receive (e.g. dinner entertainment etc). Any suggested donation
amount is tax deductible and will be identified as a tax deductible item
in the event advertising. Money paid for raffle tickets and auction items
is also not tax deductible.
Will
you protect my privacy?
We guarantee
that we will not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone
outside the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife. Where a program
is run jointly with like-minded charities and not-for-profits, such as
appeals and events for the Dunphy Wilderness Fund, we may send you some
of their information material on their behalf.
Can
I cancel a donation?
You can, at
any time, change the amount you want to give, suspend or cancel your donation
- just contact our office 02 9221 1949.
