Throsby Park homestead

Historic Throsby Park homestead near Moss Vale was built in 1834. It is a distinguished example of a colonial homestead.

Throsby Park Historic Site comprises the house and associated farm buildings including a barn, flour mill, stables, Gundagai Cottage and Christ Church. The garden, orchard and farm areas add to the original charm of the restored estate. Throsby Park is listed on the National Estate, National Trust and State Heritage registers.

The Foundation funded some restoration work on the Throsby Park homestead, and a donation from the late Caroline Simpson enabled the Foundation to fund a comprehensive conservation study.
