Warrabah National Park

80 km north of Tamworth

One of few inland river parks in NSW, Warrabah National Park provides an important native refuge in a largely cleared area. Ridges and isolated granite boulders line a scenic section of the Namoi River before it meets the western Plains.

Funding from the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife acquired 1,400 hectares, which lifted Warrabah Nature Reserve to the status of Warrabah National Park.
