issue is PAWS’ 1st birthday issue.
Over the past 12
months PAWS has spread wildlife and parks news by word of mouse to thousands
of readers.
In the last issue
we asked your opinion about PAWS so we can make our newsletter even more
worthwhile. Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in
our survey (raffle winners are listed below). Here is what you told us.
1) Most of our
readers are recreational park users with a strong interest in native
wildlife.

4) Most readers
gave PAWS good or very good marks for layout, images, writing, quality
of information, story variety, readability and download time. Your feedback
told us however that there is room for improvement in the quality of
both writing and information. We are working on it and hope you find
some evidence for that in this issue!

5) Many of
you made story suggestions for future issues and we found there was
popular demand for hands-on tips on how to make a contribution in your
own backyard. This is why we have started two new regular columns “Weeding
with Colin” and “Wildlife Friendly Gardening” starting
with this issue of PAWS.
