TALKING PAWS

Dear Parks and Wildlife Supporters

Can you ever forget the sheer joy and magic of seeing a Yellow-footed Rock-wallaby bounding through the bush or a Gould’s Petrel soar through the air?

It’s only through your help that your children and grandchildren can also witness these amazing sights.
Without you they would have disappeared many years ago. Your donations have saved these magnificent creatures.

On 29 June 2005 when the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife celebrates its 35th birthday you can give your native wildlife a special gift.

For the past 35 years, your donations to the Foundation have paid for practical on-the-ground projects that have achieved real results. Just imagine, together we have saved more than 130,000 hectares of native bushland for everyone to explore and enjoy.

But there are many more unique Australian creatures that still need you to be their guardian.

Together we solve problems right across the country with projects that are science-based, match key conservation priorities, and have strong local community support.

So you can celebrate successes like buying special places where our native wildlife can roam free and saving threatened animals and plants from certain extinction. You can also enjoy better park facilities, conserved historic sites and involve your kids in wild learning experiences.

You can give back to our country some of the wonderful gifts Australia gives to us. What you get back is immeasurable.
Thank you on behalf of our furry, feathered and finned friends.

Yours truly
Peter Janssen
President

PS: Your tax-deductible gift for the animals will ensure their future survival. Send your donation by 29 June 2005 to give yourself a present for your tax-return.
