The 'Private Land Conservation Grants Program' is a partnership initiative of the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife, the Paddy Pallin Foundation, the Humane Society International's Wildlife Land Trust, the Diversicon Environmental Foundation, the NSW Nature Conservation Trust and the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage Conservation Partners Program.

To date, the Private Land Conservation Grants program has provided more than $250,000 towards supporting NSW private landholders with Conservation Agreements to undertake conservation works such as habitat or species conservation projects on their properties. Grants of up to $3,000 per year were available.

With the majority of land in Australia, including in New South Wales, in private ownership, this conservation program is an important complement to the public national park system. Importantly, private conservation land connects habitats across the state by creating wildlife corridors between national parks, improving their resilience and integrity.
