From the Gladstone Observer

100x100ladybird

The readers of the Gladstone Observer love their Backyard Buddies so much that the paper is printing regular articles about Backyard Buddies.

Backyard Buddies is a free education program run by the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife about Australian animals you're likely to see each month, with tips on how to make your backyard safe and inviting for them.

Backyard buddies are the native animals that share our built-up areas, waterways, backyards and parks.

Backyard buddies are also the people who value native animals and plants and want to protect them. So you can be a backyard buddy.

Sign up to Backyard Buddies and each month you will get a Backyard Buddies email (B-mail) with tips to make your backyard inviting and safe for native animals. Sign up for B-mail at www.fnpw.org.au/news-media/latest-news-sign-up.

You can also visit the Backyard Buddies website for free info about animals and other resources, at www.backyardbuddies.net.au

Backyard Buddies is also on Facebook! Share photos of your buddies, chat with other buddies about what's in their area at the moment, and enter competitions to win Backyard Buddy toys at www.facebook.com/backyardbuddies.
