The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife purchased the Little Llangothlin Nature Reserve for the National Reserve system.

Little Llangothlin is an important remnant habitat as many of the other lagoons in this region have been dammed or drained.

Little Llangothlin Nature Reserve is a Wetland of International Importance.  It provides invaluable opportunity for scientific study of wetland ecology. It is a significant breeding ground for Black Swans and Marsh Terns.

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife is the only organisation in Australia whose philanthropy is an investment in our public estate, for all to enjoy.
