In 2008 the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife received a land donation from Mr Gordon Donaldson. These 355 hectares became part of Coneac State Conservation Area.

This land donation of steeply sloping forest and rich rainforest almost doubled the size of the previously 449 hectare reserve.

Mr Donaldson’s generosity means land and wildlife in this part of the New South Wales mid north coast can be protected in perpetuity.

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife is the only organisation in Australia whose philanthropy is an investment in our public estate, for all to enjoy.
