In a model deal for urban sustainability, Australand, a major Australian property developer, donated 9.26 hectares of adjoining bushland to the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife.

This land is now part of Dural Nature Reserve. This process showcases a way to balance natural and built environment.

This reserve protects many native species of birds, mammals and plants, and provides a welcome area of natural beauty and respite to local residents.

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife is the only organisation in Australia whose philanthropy is an investment in our public estate, for all to enjoy.
