Sydney Harbour National Park offers amazing views of the majestic and world famous harbour. Accessible from several entry points around Sydney Harbour, you can enjoy natural bushland, secluded sandy beaches and rugged sandstone cliffs - all with the contrast of Sydney city in the background.

The park is home to a number of threatened species including endangered populations of Little Penguins, Long-Nosed Bandicoots, Bent-Wing Bats and Red-Crowned Toadlets.

You can enjoy kayacking, swimming, picnicking, walks and cultural experiences in the park with Aboriginal repatriation sites and historic buildings like the 1801 Fort at Middle Head and the Quarantine Station at North Head, Manly residing inside Sydney Harbour National Park.

The harbour islands are also included in Sydney Harbour National Park, including Fort Denison, Shark, Clark and Rodd islands.

Sydney Harbour National Park includes reed-fringed freshwater lakes, lot of waterbirds, quiet patches of forest, and are among the last undisturbed lake systems near Sydney. They have enormous scientific, as well as environmental and aesthetic, value.
