Corporate Volunteers Lend A Hand At Middle Head

Blog Post - Corporate Volunteers Lend A Hand At Middle Head

Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife and NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service would like to thank employees from LENDLEASE for participating in a Corporate Volunteer Day, held at Sydney Harbour National Park, Middle Head on 13 September 2018.

Sydney Harbour National Park at Middle Head is located within Headland Park, a beautiful park of over 30 hectares created on former defence lands. Fear of invasion led to the construction of a network of military forts around Sydney. From 1806 to the 1960's, Middle Head was an integral part of Sydney's defence, and the Middle Head forts complex covers 150 years of NSW military history.

Middle Head is one of Sydney Harbour's seven headlands with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean to the horizon, framed by North and South Heads. The panoramic outlook extends to the Eastern Suburbs, Middle Harbour and Manly.

Thanks for joining helping us preserve our natural environment!

Corporate environmental volunteering in National Parks is a great team building experience that strengthens bonds, ignites team spirit and creates memorable experiences for employees undertaking meaningful activities that benefit our environment.
